Context
We will be creating an ecosystem for Tesla users. From the Tesla AR car showroom to Starry Night- turn your Tesla to a spaceship, we will bring the immersive experience to the Tesla owners.

Design 2 XR apps that provide a great experience for Tesla owners.
Tesla Car Showroom AR App – Visualize and purchase your future Tesla car.
Starry Night VR app – turn the Tesla cabin into a spaceship – Immersive yourself under a starry night
Research
Tesla AR Showroom
Analysis of the current Tesla website led our UX/UI team to consider a simple way to showcase Tesla cars through an Augmented Reality app. By downloading the AR app, the user can change Tesla’s car and check out the interior design in real-time. The user can get a tangible experience through AR with the immersive Tesla car showroom app.
Tesla Model 3 Buyer
Current Tesla owners tend to be male, older (45+ years old), higher income ($100K+), and Asian. The Model 3 searchers also skew male and Asian but bring in a younger demographic (35-44 years old) and slightly lower income ($50-100K) – a testament to the lower, more appealing price point.
Both Tesla owners and Tesla Model 3, Model S, and Model X searchers showed a high interest in the environment and ecology. This indicated that some sort of app to connect Tesla owners to their outside environment would be appealing and align with their interests. We thought there would be no better way to inspire curiosity and inspiration than with an app to connect people to the stars.
Reasons Why Tesla Owners Love Their Vehicles
Tesla takes its cues from consumer and aspirational technology, not from auto-industry traditions.
Tesla Inc. and the electric vehicle market, along with Elon Musk’s other brands like the solar city, and SpaceX have the potential to save the planet and flaunt environmental responsibility.
